Covenant

As we trust we have been brought by divine grace to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ and by the influence of His Spirit to give ourselves up to Him, so we do most solemnly covenant with each other, that God enabling us, we will walk together in brotherly love.

That we will exercise a Christian care and watchfulness over each other, and faithfully warn, rebuke, and admonish one another as the case shall require, and in all things seek and guard the honor and the true function of the church.

That we will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor omit the great duty of prayer, both for ourselves and for others, and for the enterprise of the Kingdom of God.

That we will share in each others joys, and endeavor with tenderness and sympathy, to bear each others burdens and sorrows.

That we will earnestly endeavor to bring up such as are, or may be, under our care, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord

That we will seek divine aid to enable us to walk circumspectly and watchfully in the world, denying ungodliness and every worldly lust.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16).

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three person: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19).

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory (I Corinthians 15:3; I Peter 2:21-24; John 3:16).

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Romans 3:21-30; Galatians 4:4-7).

We believe that the full consummation of the baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of the spiritual power in public testimony and service (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:2,6; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:42,43; Matthew 3:11).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they that are saved unto the resurrection of life; and to those that are lost the resurrection of damnation (John 5:24,28,29).

We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18; John 5:14; I Peter 2:24).

We believe in total prosperity: spiritual (John 3:3, 11; II Corinthians 5:17-21), mental (II Timothy 1:7; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3), physical (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24), financial (III John 1:2; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14), and social (Proverbs 3:4).

We believe in the eminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 4:18; Revelations 21:20).
