The Willingness of Praying

We have to be willing to submit to a powerful prayer life with God. Everything God does is in a process of time. Process in your life structure directs your future. Leaving God out of the process, will adversely affect your future. Prayer is a process. Through this process we learn how to approach things in prayer and how to listen to God’s instruction on how to handle life obstacles. Romans 12:2 says:

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

In order to see manifestation in your life you have to be sensitive to the transformation of your mind. In order to get your mind transformed you have to renew your mind with God’s word. Genesis 8:22 says:

22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

The strength of this scripture should saturate your spirit that there will never be a time without seedtime and harvest for as long as the earth remains. As long as there is life you’ve got seedtime and harvest. Seedtime is the word of God. Harvest is the benefits that’s manifested from seedtime. Your source of a harvest is the God you are serving. He is your source of power and authority that will build you up in whatever area you need help in.

What you have to do is have expectation. When you pray you’ve got to pray with expectation. This has to be so strong standing point in your life. There should not be a complaint in you that he’s not going to do it. Either you are going to believe God or not. Become sensitive to the leading of the Lord by spending time with Him through studying the bible, meditating, standing on scriptures, and prayer. In Genesis 8:22,

22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

the scripture says seedtime and harvest not harvest and seedtime. You’ve got to plant something in order to reap something.

1 john 3:22 reads:

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Let this scripture bring structure to your prayer life. Your walk with God has to be a submissive one. Abraham believed God. Just as what he did showed his faith in God, what you do will show God your faith in Him.

Proverbs 6:2 says:

2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

You’ve got to starve your doubt and feed your faith and say what the Word says. When you are not praying in the holy ghost, make scriptures your prayer. Then have confidence that God not only hears you but He answers you also.

Remember, Expectation is the key to seedtime and harvest. There is no power greater than God’s power. Pray, and be sincere. God will answer. No Prayer life, no victory. You’ve got to have a prayer life and know how to approach God and how to entreat God’s ear to listen to you. Every word that God gives us has weight. The word of God has authority. The bible says that God sends his word forth and when it returns it doesn’t returns void. So the word of God accomplishes what its set out to do. All you have to do is believe.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16).

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three person: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19).

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory (I Corinthians 15:3; I Peter 2:21-24; John 3:16).

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Romans 3:21-30; Galatians 4:4-7).

We believe that the full consummation of the baptism of believers in the Holy Ghost is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of the spiritual power in public testimony and service (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:2,6; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:42,43; Matthew 3:11).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they that are saved unto the resurrection of life; and to those that are lost the resurrection of damnation (John 5:24,28,29).

We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18; John 5:14; I Peter 2:24).

We believe in total prosperity: spiritual (John 3:3, 11; II Corinthians 5:17-21), mental (II Timothy 1:7; Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3), physical (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24), financial (III John 1:2; Malachi 3:10-11; Luke 6:38; II Corinthians 9:6-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14), and social (Proverbs 3:4).

We believe in the eminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (I Thessalonians 4:18; Revelations 21:20).
